Review of Stories We Tell (2012) by Katherine D — 27 Sep 2013
Though it drags a bit at times, (probably least ten to fifteen minutes could have been taken off without affecting the story much), Stories We Tell is an interesting, compelling, and well-made twist on the Documentary genre, and the ending line is simply flawless!
The film even seemingly questions its own accuracy, by raising the question of how accurate something can be portrayed if it's built solely on people's memories and perspectives. In all, a heartfelt and entertaining, as well as thought provoking narrative, with fairly likable characters, and enough substance to make up for the few slower moments.
