Review of Stop-Loss (2008) by Jessica R — 25 Jun 2009
I thought this film was ok, but the tone of the film seems a little undecided. At some points it was too heavy and it tried to be extremely serious, but it also tried to be a MTV teenage film, all while covering a lot of different topics.
The acting actually surprised me as most of the guys did a good job. I also have to point out the totally unnessecary montages set to music; they totally took me out of the film. Overall not a total diaster, but a film that wasn't for sure how serious to get, but it still a decent film.
