I will admit I hadn't even heard of the term Stop-Loss before I rented this movie. The movie tackles the issue of forced re-drafting of soldiers to Iraq. Strong performances from Levitt and Phillippe, awesome opening 20 minutes, and leaves you with that same feeling that Jarhead does.
Unfortunately the movie seems to have a lot of complex characters and the further along it runs the less clarity the movie has.
