Review of Stop-Loss (2008) by Leigh C — 12 Sep 2008

Well... that one looked a lot better in the previews. Maybe it was because it hit too close to home with my brother-in-law being in the military and having served in Iraq. While he wasn't stop-lossed he was sent from a tour in Korea right to Iraq, which was a nice loophole for the Army to circumvent the 13 months maximum separation from family.

But still - even though it was a good subject, I thought the movie dragged a lot and for some reason the actors did not succeed in making me care for them.
