Review of Stop-Loss (2008) by Crystal L — 22 Dec 2008
The war sequences are fascinating. and the idea of following these characters back into normal life is a good one, but COME ON! The DAY they get home they all start showing their PTSD symptoms. It was almost as though the screenwriters Googled "PTSD" and kept referring back to what they found as they wrote the script.
Oh, and by the way, who are these people?? Is that just how everyone in Texas behaves. Sure, they all swill whiskey from a bootle and carry guns to shoot at whatever they want. The characters became caricatures and this movie became a joke.
