Ryan Phillippe gives a strong performance in a film about the volunteers for the Iraq war and their struggles with PTSD, and how they're treated by the army. Joseph Gordon-Levitt is phenomenal in a supporting role, but overall the film's weak ending seems a massive letdown from what had built up before.
