Review of Stonewall (2015) by Gene B — 26 Sep 2015

So the movie is getting trashed by the critics. And then some gay activities trashed it as well hating it for being inaccurate and biased against minorities and drag queens. So haters will be haters. And these haters have it all wrong!

Ok this isn't the most creative most beautiful movie this season. Still it's an important one and the story is compelling in its realism. A reminder of what it was like to be gay back in the 60s in America. Basically you were sub human and that's pretty well depicted in this movie. Go and see it as a docudrama. And emotional one.
