Review of Stonewall (2015) by Angelle H — 27 Sep 2015
Performances are exceptional while the writing a bit mundane. Worth the price of admission to see Rhys Meyers and Beauchamp along with the rest of the street kids. General audiences who have no connection to the LGBT community will probably be moved by it, buying into the fictional character of Danny.
If it succeeds in getting a dialog about homeless gay kids in the media, it will have achieved some of what Emmerich set out to do.
