This movie had great potential. I think there was a little something lost in the interpretation though. Norton struggles with becoming normal after being in prison for 9 years and DeNiro is on his way out of the prison system ends up doing some bad things that bring his question of morals up front.
DeNiro is on the parole board and he is the one prisoners have to convince they have changed. Can Nortons character do that...is it fair...are there more influences helping Norton get out earlier? Decent movie just didn't deliver all the way I think.
Interesting for sure though.
