Convict tries to secure his release by trying to affect the judgment of his parole officer. Top notch cast with Norton delivering in his usual level and even De Niro shows us a glimpse of why he is considered the greatest living actor in Hollywood after "slumming" during the recent years.

Jovovich also has a handle of the flirty wife. Sadly the story doesnt quite rise to the occasion and this definitely had more potential. Solid tense drama still worth checking out.
