Review of Stone (2012) by Blumuze J — 18 May 2011
Fantastic cinematography and fantastic performances from DeNero and Norton. It really is a shame though, because one might think the above is all that is needed to make a terrific film, but unfortunately it is not.
While it was great to look at and great to see Norton and DeNero being as amazing as they are, the film itself was just too depressing, too slow, and believe it or not, way too hard to get into. This really could have been a great film.
Oh well.
