Review of Stone (2010) by Jim A — 05 Nov 2011
A well-acted mess. Impossible to judge on its own terms, because its intentions are indecipherable. Part of the plot hinges on an Eastern-sounding religion (involving meditative chanting and reincarnation) that's entirely fictional, and which was evidently contrived to give "symbolic significance" to otherwise meaningless images and dialog.
