Robert DeNiro gives his usual accomplished performance and Edward Norton is as polished as ever, but "Stone" sinks beneath a see-through plot and characters that are so unlikeable that you never really care what happens to them.
DeNiro works at a prison as a parole case worker. He is assigned to Stone (Norton) who desparately wants out of jail. Before long Stone's seductive wife begins contacted the DeNiro in order to persuade him to let her husaband out.
