Review of Stomp the Yard (2007) by Steve S — 02 Feb 2012
For the plot it descripts and the actors it casted, this film was decent. I thought the title of the college (Truth University) was laughable and so overly cliched, but it didn't ruin the movie for me.
What really carried the movie was what the title suggested, the step competitions. I found those sequences to be just remarkable and entertaining; entertaining enough to overlap the usual "boy meets pretty girl, both want to be together, but society wont let them" routine.
