Review of Stoker (2013) by Renee P — 18 Jun 2013
There is an art to Stoker. From the very first moment you see India (Mia Wasikowska) to the last moment, you feel a disturbing presence. This movie was unlike many movies I've seen, not just from the story but from the way the director presents the transitioning of scenes and the small coincidences from India and her "Uncle Charlie.
" The film succeeded in making me feel awkward and slightly disturbed. There was so much calming suspense for me in this film and it kept me interested up to the very last image.
