Review of Stoker (2013) by Monika B — 22 Jun 2013
Stoker is one of those films that are slow-paced yet keep you tense and glued to the screen. It's eerie and wonderfully weird. It's far from predictable: not only does it keep you guessing but it also keeps surprising.
And most importantly, the acting is top-notch, even the character played by Nicole Kidman, who's incredibly lethargic and hard to like, makes a great difference to the overall performance. Can't really criticise it - it's unique and definitely worth a watch.
