Not quite what I was expecting but that is no bad thing...
This is a terrific film which is supported by a great cast and a lot of subtlety and tension. Mia Wasikowska leads the proceedings with real ease and is backed up by Kidman at her icy best and Matthew Goode putting in a deceptively great performance.
Visuallly the film is terrific and the soundtrack drives the story along perfectly. Park Chan-wook has delivered yet another beautifully crafted and satisfying tale....
