More style over substance. The premise of the unexpected arrival of a psycho into an unassuming home has been done to death...think of Curtis Hanson's The Hand That Rocks The Cradle meets Adrian Lyne's Fatal Attraction done in the stupendous visual style of Park Chan Wook.
