I decide to take it as Mr Park didn't wanted to surprise us with complicated twists in the storyline so that our full attention sustain on the characters. Did the actors did a good job in creating interesting characters to watch for 2 hours? yes.
And the stylish cinematography and the masterful audio/visual editing is very enjoyable indeed.
