As Chan Wook Park's first American movie, I have to say, bravo! The little things about this movie are the things that shine. You'll see them. Like the way a spider crawls across the floor or slowly up someone's leg.
The real trick is knowing what's going on. Is the girl hallucinating that some things happened the way they did? Wo can say for sure.
What I do know is that I welcome watching it over and over to figure it out. It's like having an eerie bedtime story read to you over and over. It never gets old.
