I loved Old Boy so I went into this knowing that Chan Wook was going to dish up some ferked erp shit for the American public. Unfortunately, this time it didn't work for me. It was too subtle and not crazy enough so I was left thinking that this time Chan Wook was actually trying to convince me that it was cool to be this disturbed.
Great acting, great visual treat but spoiled by being completely pretentious and ending with a silly teenage goth type message.
