A visually stunning killer thriller. Or at least it wants to be. Unfortunately, Stoker doesn't quite deliver any real thrills. It just sort of wanders through its story, at times intriguing, and then ends.
Good performances from the star trio of Kidman, Goode and Wasikowska. Stoker reminded me a bit of Beetlejuice and The Addams Family. I just can't help but feel like this movie will get lost in cinematic history.
It just didn't have a compelling enough story.
