Stoker was well filmed and acted, even scripted but the plot was just riddled with holes. This movie is all style, zero substance. None of the actions of any of the players was remotely credible. The plot was just begging for a supernatural twist, but I suppose the twist is.

...no twist. There sort of is one, but you see it coming, so it is of little real surprise. It succeeds in being somewhat riveting because you think you are going somewhere very interesting. But in the end, it goes nowhere and all you are left with is a bunch of questions about how you could have possible gotten to nowhere.
