Review of Stoker (2013) by Brandon V — 04 Aug 2014
With every image, prop, or motif purposefully placed, perfected and re-organized, "Stoker" is simultaneously as intriguingly distant as it is beautiful. Any attempt to establish developmental plotting throughout is an unnecessary blow to an otherwise near-masterpiece of psychological dynamics and hypnotic surrealism.
