Review of Stoker (2013) by Max L — 01 Aug 2013
Stoker is a movie about tension and inaction, about people trying to figure out what's going on in someone else's head. It has shades of Hitchcock, but this horror thriller lacks a protagonist worthy of its audience.
At the end, it feels like an empty exercise in creepy perversity that's more confusing than coherent.
