Review of Stoker (2013) by Joie2 — 20 Mar 2013
My husband wanted to see the movie because of the NY Times review, while I was put off by the trailer and the mixed critic reviews. We did end up seeing it, and both loved it. It is more of a psychological thriller than the horror/slasher film implied by the trailer.
The cinematography was outstanding and the direction wonderful; in fact, now I want to go back and see Oldboy.
