I loved Park's previous works for the imagery but also the story telling. But Stoker's story telling is too slow-paced and lacking in its je ne sais quois. It's like watching and knowing it's Park, but only find it has no difference than most Korean horrors that dreaded, Hitchcock aside.
Too much imagery, if you ask me. Too much that it drowned the story. But that's just me.
