I have never seen any of Park's other films so I really have nothing to compare it to but I had been warned ahead of time that it might be slow paced. For me, that just added to the suspense of the movie.
It is beautifully shot and there couldn't have been a better pick than Matthew Goode for the part of Charlie, this is probably his best role to date. I do think it lulled along in parts but the cinematography made up for that in my opinion.
