Appealing to the eye and not very much else. I'm afraid a pretty film is not enough to sustain my attention. Intrigue translated to boredom as the story wore on. The characters displayed less than captivating temperaments.
There were ample moments of sexual frustration, though perhaps this was intended as tension to build suspense. It was NOT comparable to a Lynch by any stretch.
