Review of Stir of Echoes (1999) by Jim M — 04 Feb 2009
One of the best ghost stories of the 90's (eat it Sixth Sense), about a family man pushed to the edge when he starts seeing ghosts and other visions. Builds the suspense well, and has some excellent cinematography.
Acting wise Kevin Bacon is one of the best actors in Hollywood when it come to portraying everyman characters, well Kathyrn Erbe does the same as Bacon's wife (10 minutes in and you feel like you've known these characters, that's how much they remind you of real people).
If you haven't seen this you owe it to yourself to check it out.
