Review circa 2007:

I also say Stir of Echoes finally, the previous night. A Koepp script of all things. Starring Kevin Bacon who I had previously seen two nights before in Hollow Man. He really isn't the lead man type of guy unfortunately. Stir of Echoes was actually quite interesting. Better than I expected, especially how the acceptance given to his powers was handled. The setting also reminded me of the beginning of War of the Worlds (also a Koepp script). It was the same type of neighbourhood with the same type of low-income father. In the end the film built itself up quite well, only to be let down by a very weak final act.
