Review of Stir of Echoes (1999) by Alex G — 08 Mar 2012

I love the book, but this is something entirely of its own. Luckily, the film delivers a fantastic script lead by great acting. It combines many variations of the supernatural into an elaborate personal journey.

What keeps the film from truly being great is the mediocracy in the direction, the horrendous acting by the sister hypnotist, and a few obnoxious scenes. Overall, this is a great film to see. And while your at it, read the book too.
