Plain and simple, this movie spooked me to the max.
It doesn't help that I'm acutely schizophrenic, so I DO occasionally see things ou tof the corner of my eye.
The first time I saw this movie I didn't sleep that night.
I believe it is the first movie to use frame cutting to give that creepy jerky movement to ghosts too. And it really works.
I could go into other great twists and plot effects too, but it would create spoilers.
If you like thrillers, this is a great movie and it singlehandedly redeems Kevin Bacon for "Footloose".
