Review of Stir of Echoes (1999) by The B — 03 Nov 2009
Surprisingly compelling, solidly built, and consistently entertaining. This really isn't my genre, but the scares are quickly replaced with thrills, and then actually tells a decent story. Though the plot wasn't highly complicated, it had enough twists, turns, and creepy moments to keep me happy, and it was all well written and acted.
Bacon of course is in good form, and that little kid does a great job. This is a well balanced horror movie.
