Julianne Moore's performance is stunning. It's authentic to the degree of heartbreaking, and fits perfectly into the plots. Moreover, while giving a great performance like that, Julianne does a terrific job harmonizing with the other casts, especially Christen Stewart, who plays her maverick little daughter.This makes the role she plays even more convincing. A simple story line yet very moving and elegantly presented. A must-see.
By the way, I'm pretty surprised that the music score of the film is so little discussed. It's very beautiful and measured.
