Review of Still Alice (2014) by Matt A — 14 May 2015
Powerful performances all around in this, even from the usually appalling Kirsten 'Mouth Breather' Stewart. This film belongs to Julianne Moore, her performance alone is worth watching, truly heartbreaking.
My only real complaint is that it didn't go into detail about the family dealing with her Alzheimer's and there wasn't that many 'bad days'. This was mainly a film were the performances outshone any of the bad points and that final scene did leave me with a tear in my eye.
