Review of Still Alice (2014) by Sydonia B — 13 May 2015
The main reason to watch this film is the unbelievable performance of Julianne Moore! She's so talented as a women who has a good job, marriage, kids and is just happy and then gets a diagnose of Alzheimer's disease.
She totally deserved the Oscar for best actress. The movie itself is pretty good for the most part. There's a few dull moments though. It's not really a sad movie but a little intense, dramatic, and heavy.
There's no humor at all, but a great supporting cast especially Alec Baldwin and Kristen Stewart. I would say this is not a movie for everyone and not exactly one of the best movies of 2014, but very interesting.
My grade=88%(B+).
