Review of Still Alice (2014) by Jimmy H — 05 May 2015
Although boasting wonderful performances from Julianne Moore, Kristen Stewart and Alec Baldwin, Still Alice fails to produce the emotional impact it is desperately reaching for. The film attempts to scoop in so much sympathy that it no longer feels an accurate observation of such a heart-breaking disease by it's conclusion.
Less would have been so much more.
