Review of Still Alice (2014) by Luke G — 17 Feb 2015
Well, that was powerful. Julianne Moore has never shined brighter in a role, and to watch her deteriorate before our eyes as Dr. Alice Howland is utterly heartbreaking. Kudos to Alec Baldwin and Hunter Parrish for accentuating this film as supporting actors.
Both were phenomenal in their own ways. Now, Kristen Stewart finally won me over for the first time as an actress. 100% turnaround from her Twilight days. All things aside, if Julianne Moore does not win the 2015 Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role for this film, it would be a travesty.
