Big Al's Movie Review:
Still Alice.
Revered linguistics professor Alice Howland (Julianne Moore) is diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer's and, along with her family, endures a downward descent at the hands of the disease.
As you can imagine, this story doesn't have a fairytale ending. Still Alice might give a front row seat to the effects of a somber and devastating affliction but it's Moore's Oscar winning performance that make seeing this film a worthwhile endeavor...even if it's only a one time viewing.
Grade: A.
