A terrifying real life horror story. When Alice develops early onset Alzheimer's, she is forced to watch as she slowly starts to lose herself and her life starts to crumble down around her. Julianne Moore won best actress for her performance her, and she deserved it! She puts on a subtle, nuanced, heartbreaking and all too real performance and Alice.
Alec Baldwin and Kristen Stewart put on superb supporting performances as her husband and one of her daughters. Still Alice is certainly a tough watch, the whole film is scene after scene of sadness. That said, it's still definitely worth a watch.
