Review of Still Alice (2014) by Anthony I — 10 Mar 2015
Julianne Moore's performance as a woman with Alzheimer's is absolutely chilling. She's an incredible actress. The movie itself is just ok. It's appropriately sensitive and understanding of those affected by Alzheimer's, but at times it comes across as schmaltzy Oscar bait.
We've seen stuff like this before, and might I say, it's been done much better.
