This could have turned into a ham-fisted and syrupy effort with the wrong people on board but fortunately the casting and filming has been fully realised. At times, an excruciating film to watch (for the right reasons), but watch you must.
Performances are top rate which colours this film in all its painful beauty. Just be prepared for it.
