Review of Still Alice (2014) by Mitch M — 19 Apr 2015
Great performances from all lead cast make up a hard hitting and emotional roller coaster of a film. I thought it would have more courage or upbeat moments but right from the opening scene this movie doesn't pull its punches and dives straight in the real issues and sad realism of this tragic disease.
It's a 5* movie but I gave it 4 because it was a little too bleak to really enjoy.
