Review of Still Alice (2014) by Frederic C. B — 01 May 2015
The Good:
Great depiction of the worsening condition of the titular character. Amazing and very believable performance by Julianne Moore. This surely helps to increase awareness regarding Alzheimer and its effect to those who are unfortunate to have it.
The Not-so-Good:
Feels more and admittedly suitable as a documentary instead of an actual movie. The movie just gets more depressing and daunting, and there's never a sense of climax. It's a painful sequence to experience, and the conclusion is heartbreaking and sad.
