Review of Still Alice (2014) by Prentice S — 27 Sep 2015
Before the film was out, I was expecting a good weepie film. Having seen it now, I would say it's good, warm in places as demonstrated by close family to Alice. There wasn't any weepie scenes - I can't remember last time I cried at a movie due to the storyline being tragic.
Julianne and Alec were great as a couple. The speech Alice gave at the Alzheimer's association gathering was strong and very well said I thought. It was a ok ending.
