Review of Stigmata (2009) by Michelle L — 13 Jan 2008
Where to start. The plot is edgy. The directing is solid. Patricia Arquette is sext even when she is possesed. The message of this movie is obvious. Find God where you will, instead of where you are supposed to.
I loved the fact that this movie challenges the establishment without alienating those that are a part of it. And of course, the review would not be complete without saying that Billy Corgan did a bang up job on the soundtrack.
I think this movie would be lost without it.
