Review of Stigmata (2009) by Beth S — 26 Jul 2010
Great music and sharp (though heavy-handed) imagery are the best parts of this movie. Especially the opening montage. The rest of the the film is somewhat clumsy and confused, what with a stigmatic who behaves (and looks and speaks) like a demoniac--complete with yellow eyes.
Interesting enough apologia for the Gospel of Thomas.
