Review of Stigmata (1999) by Echo K — 10 Dec 2008
This film has possibly the worst opening credits sequence ever produced (seriously, there must have been a strike in Hollywood that week or something) and that pretty much sets the scene for all that follows.
It's semi interesting for a while (Stigmata is a fascinating subject after all) but it's bogged down by poor production and a plot that goes nowhere fast, it's like an even more terrible version of Poltergeist The Legacy.
Awful soundtrack to boot 'n all. Check out the BBCs drama series Apparitions, similar themes but far superior.
