Review of Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine (2015) by Walker S — 14 Sep 2015
The first half is great even if it is all stuff we have seen and heard about already. The second half that dealt with all the apple scandals and the Foxconn incident were needed but drawn out and detracted from the documentaries focus point which is Steve jobs.
The main treat is the archival footage of jobs and the personal accounts from friends and co workers. Was a little surprised that no major current apple players were interviewed in the documentary (Phil Schiller, Tim Cook, or Jony Ive to name a few).
All in all its a must see for any apple or jobs fan. My only concern was that this was rushed to get it out before the bio pic that's coming out in a few weeks regardless it's a great look into the life of history's greatest entrepreneur.
